What is the state of the music programs in our schools? Is the creativity you hear on social
media, TV, etc., the quality of what was heard in in the past? Is it better? If it is the former,
what is the problem(s). Certainly budget cutbacks is part of the problem-sometimes leading to
the elimination of the entire program. Is this the beginning of a long term decline.
Encouraging the administrations to increase the music budget can help. Parental support is also needed. .Let's start promoting a curriculm that will affect the students the rest of their lives - not
